Collard Greens Dip

We swapped out the classic spinach dip for this tasty alternative.

Our beloved collards are the star of this fun dip for your future party lineup!

Three cheese make this dip creamy and rich - perfect for celebrations and entertaining. We love serving this with a perfectly toasted crostini, but vegetable sticks work great if you're in the moods for a lighter take.

Ingredients

    • 15 ounces frozen chopped collard greens, thawed and drained
    • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
    • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 small shallot, minced
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced (1 tablespoon)
    • Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
    • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    • Crostini, for serving

Instructions

step 1

Preheat oven to 350° and prepare a small nonstick baking dish.

step 2

Combine drained collard greens, 1 cup mozzarella, cream cheese, Parmesan, sour cream, mayonnaise, shallot, garlic, and seasonings in a large bowl. Fold together well before pouring into a baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and cheese has melted. Serve warm alongside crostini.
